*No one had seen Chomesuke get kidnapped. She hadn't been able to say anything to warn anyone. And now she was back. At least they'd taken her journal with her, though her hands were shaking so badly that she almost couldn't open the book, much less write in it.

And now he was here. She could feel it. Chomesuke managed to open the book, and encode her message to the Exorcists only. She didn't want him knowing the shape she was in.*
